CLUB CREW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS (CCWC)

The International Dragon Boat Federation holds a Club Crew World Championships every other year in even years. Crews in each class represent local clubs who have qualified through regional and national raceoffs when required. Club crew rosters must remain stable during the run up process to the World Championships.

In 2006 the CCWC were held in Toronto. They were in Penang, Malaysia in August 2008 where Canada was vey successful.

For each event Dragon Boat Canada will have a protocol in place to determine which Canadian crews receive sanctions for CCWC. If necessary, race-offs are held.
