- 2004: The sixth WDBRC took place in Shanghai, China, on October 20-24, 2004.
- 2003: A World Nations Cup Championship Regatta took place in Poznan, Poland.
- 2001: The fourth WDBRC took place in Philadelphia, U.S.A., in 2001. Over 2000 athletes representing 20 Federations from 5 continents took part.
- 1999: The third WDBRC took place in Nottingham, England. 1266 athletes representing 17 Federations from 5 continents took part.
- 1997: The second WDBRC took place in Hong Kong. 946 athletes representing 18 Federations from 5 continents took part.
- 1995: The first WDBRC was held in Yue Yang, China, 814 athletes representing 15 Federations from 5 continents took part.
Club Crew World Championships (CCWC)
- 2008: The sixth CCWC took place in Penang, Malaysia
- 2006: The fifth CCWC took place in Toronto, Ontario
- 2004: The fourth CCWC took place in Capetown, South Africa, April 15-17
- 2002: The third CCWC took place in Rome, Italy
- 1998: The second CCWC took place in Wellington, New Zealand.
- 1996: Canada proudly hosted the first Club Crew World Championships in Vancouver.
